Children play in the cultural Centre of Martinci. Serbia.Martinci 22.05.2015.
Cultural centres were very popular in former Yugoslavia especially in the period after the Second World War. Many of them were built long before the war. Today in Serbia, some of them are still in use but very rarely, sometimes even not more than few times a year, and others are completely unusable and became ruins. Nobody invest in them sometimes for more than 20 years. This situation reflects everything that happened to the country from 1990.
